Summer in the States 2006

This post is way overdue. The Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame trip we took happened like a month ago.

Anyways, no words. More updates later on.

That's us in the car.

Went to Crackel Barrel near Cedar Point for breakfast.

The spread of pancakes, toast, scrambled eggs, ham, sausage and apple sauce. Yum!

And we finally reached the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

That's the building behind the sign. It's a large pyramid structure glasshouse. That's a Jack Daniel guitar.

No photo taking allowed in the musuem so not many photos taken for this trip. There was about 6 storeys in the musuem and it was really impressive because there was the history of Rock and Roll and several other iconic people and bands. Then there was this jukebox thing at one level that had so many songs in it I wished we had one entire day there so I could just sit there and listen to all the songs.

One of the few photos we managed to take at the basement.

Spastic pose because we were getting a bit sick of the usual "V" sign.

After that we tried to get directions to go Chinatown.

Lost tourists on the loose.

We reached Chinatown in one piece and stopped at a Chinese supermart to buy some groceries where there was barley, rock sugar, mee sua, mee pok, button mushrooms and the like. There was even Khong Guan biscuits la.

Then slowly made our way to a Chinese restaurant. Ahhhh the decent spread of food was sooooo goood.

Stir fried kai lan, hot plate beef with pepper, fish and Tom Yam soup.

I'm a happy girl.
