MacDonalds breakfast before work one day with Jamie, one of the Taiwanese apartment mates.
We woke up at like 7am for breakfast because we had to report to work by 830. I never knew that I was so crazy to deny myself of a few more precious winks and eat MacDonalds breakfast in the Fast Food nation. But then again, any food is better than the routine cereal-and-wholemeal-bread we have. EVERY. SINGLE. MORNING.
Tucking into our McGridles and Big Breakfasts were kind of an underestimated consolation. At least we were doing sth different than what we always do
1) Waking up to the ring of the alarm at 630
2) Eating breakfast and watching Saved by the Bell (read: Days-of-our-lives version of an American drama)
3) Checking out the weather channel so that we wont be caught in the rain or be baked like a turkey
4) Running out of the apartment and all the way to the bus stop
5) Catching our breaths on the bus
Yep, it was definitely sth worth blogging about: a breakthrough in our mundane mornings.
