Monday nite me and Pat got off early so we went East of Chicago's buffet again cos she was feelin constipated and had to eat her week worth's of veggies. So thus she got her wish. Took some photos of our apartment from the outside. The room with the lights on is our room.



Yesterday i controlled my spending at Aurora! Haha. But one cool thing, in fact the happiest thing, is that i FINALLY bought DEE emporio armani red watch that i've been coveting for like one year. Yes i know, thou shalt not covet. BUT how was i able to resist that armani juz calling out to my with its fiery red temper?

And there's the small lil hut we were photo whoring in while waiting for the shops to open. Yes, when we reached, the shops werent even open. And we shopped till they close at 9pm. That's Fossil next to the hut.

Dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Food was really good there. Almost comparable to the Chunese buffet. This shopping spree is so tiring but a much deserved break away from Cedar Point.

Electrico's Hip City was out in stores yesterday! That's the first album i'll get when i'm back.

The weather's been crappy these days. Rained like nobody's business and i always soaking wet shoes on when i work. I'm glad i got a rainsuit though, else i'll be totally wet and miserable.

Cant wait for the weather to get better here. Or is it not gonna happen? Like will the frickin rain juz last for the whole summer?

Jeez, it better jolly well get better for everyone's sake. Else ppl will be getting sent home because of the rain, and ppl getting caught in the rain, having wet feet, and sian moods...

Next Tuesday we should be going Aurora factory outlet as planned. That is, if i get my day off. And, i am hoping i will be disciplined in terms of expenditure man. Help.

Tuesday was the event of the year. No lah, haha just kiddin. It was just the VS sale. JUST the VS sale. Where i spent an amount not to be disclosed cos hope that daddy wont nag.

That's Agnes and me before we headed out to the mall to bomb our paychecks.

We spent like up to 2 hours plus alone in the shop and Leon got so bored and hungry he and Agnes went off a lil earlier for the Chinese buffet near Walmart. And yep we had the Chinese buffet again! But nothing beats what i'm missing back home in Singapore now. I need to find some barley seeds or sth man. Or do u call them grains? Thank god i have teh tarik packets and dried mangoes here with me, courtesy of mr w and also my aunt. Oh did i mention that Lifesavers sweets are really damn good? They kinda taste a bit like Colgate, Agnes said they taste like Sarsi, so...some where along that line la.

I think i'm almost getting bored of the shop-eat routine on our days off. I wanna do sth out of Sandusky, out of Cedar Point area so i wont be seeing any Cedar Point employees with their name tags hanging from their pockets. Sick of the place liao. Hoping that we can finish our contract soon so we can go travelling.

Oh and btw i might be coming back a week earlier.

Wednesday I got off early at 5 plus and got on the 6pm bus to the mall to meet Geri, Noy and Tai, shopped around a lil, then we walkedto Chet & Matt's Pizza for some International Students Free Pizza buffet thing. It was pretty fun meeting some girls from Ukraine and Russia (btw they both speak the same language - Russian) and we learnt some Russian words (haha).

Thursday Pat and I had our day off. So did Blaga and Z (not sure what his name really is), 2 Bulgarians who worked in Admissions with us.

The 4 of us went to the chinese buffet near Walmart and had a super great time there. We tried teaching them how to use chopsticks, Blaga got it immediately but poor Z was struggling with his chopsticks.


















We were super full after the meal especially us 3 girls who ate like mountains and piles of plates of food, ice-cream and whatever there was, we even ate more than Z, I kid u not. But we were all beaming like 4 idiots who had been deprived of decent food for a long time it's ridiculous la.

Then we walked off the food at the mall. Blaga and Z took the 6pm bus back while Pat and I shopped some more. Met PH and his room mate Ian and we went Meijer to get groceries. Check out the prices of the raspberries and blueberris!









Then went Steak n Shake for dinner - the peanut butter cup milkshake is totally to die for man, drool.

I got off from work today at 130 and caught the 2pm bus to Meijer (without the S i know now) with one of my apartment mates and met a co-worker there. She's this nice and polite English girl, Beverley, and it's been fun working with her when we get a chance to work together in the same booth.

And I bought B&J Butter Pecan ice-cream for like only US$2.50, it's so frickin cheap i cannot believe it. Then bought grapes and a night lamp so i can read at nite! And i bought some cute girly keychains that has a small lil notepad attached to it. It's so nice i bought a few so i'm gonna ship it back to some ppl back home =)

Then after that came back, bathe, chill, now here I am. I am so not getting enough hours this week. Maybe my hours prob wont even hit 50 hrs this week but i don really care cos I am so gonna take a big break this week.

Tmr work til 2pm then maybe go out with Geri, Agnes and Tai then Thursday i have off! Haha. Yippee.

I've got a HUGE craving for Tom Yam soup, fish-sliced noodles, char kuay teow, mutton curry, sashimi and home-cooked food! Argh.

So far it's been so-so cooked food that we pack for lunch, instant noodles, campbell soup, bread, cereal, burgers, lotsa junk food here. I am so looking forward to eating the Chinese buffet either tmr or Thursday.

I am gonna eat a month's worth of sweet-and-sour pork, veggies, and watever food there is there. Big time salivation. I miss driving out to al azhar for prata and teh alia in the middle of the nite, going to Bt Timah market for carrot cake and satay beehoon, the fish-slice noodles at Bt Batok, the cupcakes from Bedok, and all the food in Holland V now. Oh man.

Pat and I went to a gay club last nite with some of the admissions ppl after we got off work. It was definitely an INTERESTING experience. Haha. Gays can be pretty cute and funny in their way. Too bad didnt bring my camera with me. That's the only remnant of yesterday - a neon tag on my wrist.




Oh and Father's Day this Sunday is like major Gay Day at Cedar Point. It'll be interesting.

First up, there's this cool chocolate shop Rocky Mountain that sells piles of chocolates and caramel apples and chocolate-watever.

We ended up taking stupid photos after we were done.



A good day it was though the walking and shopping tired me out. Didnt really buy anything, juz necessities like flip-flops (they r kind of necessary in the apartment la) and also a Polo Ralph spag top for like US$10 only.

We're going Aurora factory outlet next month and I'm soooo excited about that man. Coach, Fossil, DKNY, yada yada...yay.

Next week i'm gonna have my day off on Thursday and hopefully we'll get to eat the Chinese buffet near Walmart. And then catch a movie or sth. I feel so deprived and unentertained over here.

Victoria's Secret Sale on June 20th here and we've taken the day off specially to go to the mall! Haha, stupid i know but hey, it's VS. And Niagra Falls on July 6th. Cant wait for everything. It makes the days pass faster juz thinkin of it all.

Went outlet shopping at Lodi outlet store near Cleveland yesterday. Nothing much there but it was good to be out of Sandusky for a day.
